Diesel Technician – Pioneer Tank Lines
Location: Afton
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Pioneer Tank Lines is a family-owned and growing company specializing in the safe transportation of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. We take pride in maintaining a safe, supportive, and team-oriented environment for all employees. Our fleet includes 35+ tractors and over 120 trailers , and we are continuing to expand.
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Diesel Technicians to join our team. Whether you’re experienced or just starting your career, this position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a strong, collaborative team .
Schedule
Middle Shift: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Some overtime and weekend work may be required
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
Service and repair tractors and trailers to company and DOT standards
Conduct DOT inspections
Perform electrical diagnostics, wiring, and minor fabrication work
Troubleshoot driveline, engine, and emission system issues
Perform A/C diagnostics and repairs (preferred, not required)
Knowledge of hydraulics (preferred, not required)
Maintain clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Qualifications
Diesel mechanic experience preferred (all levels welcome)
Experience with Cummins Diesel engine repair – 1 year (preferred)
Tractor-Trailer repair experience – 1 year (preferred)
Class A CDL license (preferred, not required)
