Job Description

Cornerstone Construction Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Drywall Laborer / Installer for Commercial Projects. This is hands-on field work requiring reliability, skill, and attention to detail. Applicants must be able to work independently and maintain production schedules.

  • Applicants must be able to work independently and maintain production schedules
  • Prior drywall experience required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders/stilts
  • Basic hand and power tool knowledge
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Ability to pass background screening when required
  • General Construction Technician (Multi-Trade Experience)
  • Cornerstone Construction Group is seeking a well-rounded construction professional with experience across multiple trades
  • This position is for an experienced technician who can perform diverse scopes of work correctly and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Framing and structural repairs
  • Interior and exterior doors and trim
  • Flooring (LVP, tile, basic hardwood)
  • Window and door installation
  • Basic plumbing and electrical support (non-licensed tasks only)
  • Exterior work including siding, soffit, and fascia
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing
  • Ability to work independently and lead small crews when needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background screening when required
  • Organized company with clear processes and expectations

Responsibilities

  • Hang drywall on walls and ceilings
  • Tape, mud, and finish drywall to paint-ready condition
  • Perform patches, repairs, and texture matching
  • Install corner bead and backing as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
  • Follow company procedures and OSHA safety standards
  • Drywall install and finishing
  • Execute multi-trade scopes per plans and direction
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality, and cleanliness
  • Identify and report unforeseen conditions
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades
  • Represent Cornerstone Construction Group professionally at all times
