Overview Join to apply for the Inside Sales Associate role at US PREMIER TUBE MILLS in Madison, IN. A Sales Associate provides support in all phases of the in-house sales activities in a steel tubing manufacturing plant. It is a fast-paced environment dedicated to fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time. A background in customer service is beneficial. Responsibilities Enters orders into the infor system in a timely manner and assigns each order a scheduled ship date. Communicates with the customers regarding the order acknowledgement and the scheduled ship date. Maintains the production schedule and coordinates schedule with manufacturing staff. Meets daily with production staff to review production schedule. Responds to customer inquiries on issues such as delivery date improvements, shortage/overage of shipment, quality issue, and follows up with appropriate departments to resolve the issue(s). Maintains a hard copy Open Order File and transfers to Completed Order file after shipment. Compiles daily Open Orders Report and distributes to appropriate sales reps. Compiles daily Open Orders Report for Master Halco orders and distributes to buyers and staff. Qualifications Business Degree preferred. Strong computer skills with high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work closely with others.
