As a Security Officer - Hospital Entry Patrol in Fishersville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and reporting as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification, and assisting with visitor management.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding people during evacuations or lockdowns, according to site protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed and accurate reports for Allied Universal and client records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
