About the Job

The Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day operational execution, team leadership, product standards, and guest satisfaction at a single location. This role ensures the store runs smoothly every shift by upholding systems, coaching employees, maintaining a positive work environment, and supporting company standards. This role will be heavily involved in developing training protocols for any current and future store managers and will set the standards for all store leadership. 

General Duties & Responsibilities

· Document store standards, systems, and best practices and support the creation of training materials that will be used to train future Store Managers

· Oversee in-store operations throughout the day.

· Ensure proper execution of opening, shift change, and closing procedures.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment.

· Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.

· Ensure product quality is consistent and meets brand expectations.

· Maintain dining area cleanliness, restocking, and overall appearance.

· Train new hourly employees on standards, procedures, and guest interaction.

· Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

· Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality

· Greet guests, engage with patrons, and resolve service issues.

· Handle guest complaints within company guidelines.

· Ensure hospitality standards are understood and executed by staff

· Monitor breaks, team positioning, and coverage during shifts.

· Support interviewing and hiring processes when needed.

· Enforce uniform and grooming compliance.

· Track prep levels, paper goods, smallwares, and stocked items.

· Monitor waste and product usage to reduce loss and maintain quality.

· Ensure all store systems, equipment checks, and logs are updated.

· Support onboarding and documentation of new hires.

General Skills & Requirements

· 2+ years in hospitality or retail leadership roles

· Food-handler certification required

· Strong communication and coaching ability

· Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs

· Organized, reliable, and proactive in solving problems

· Comfort working near heat, ovens, grills, and sharp objects.

· Ability to bend, reach, and move consistently throughout the shift
