PRIMARY FUNCTION: Experience driving dump trucks, water trucks while also transport dirt, gravel and any other materials. any light Equipment.
TYPICAL DUTIES: - Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values
- Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards, while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- To work well with supervision.
- Be able to work around existing underground utilities and tight areas.
- Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
- Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
- Maintaining the vehicle /equipment Clean and in good conditions.
- Responsibilities include performing Pre-trip and post trip vehicle / equipment inspections.
- Communicating effectively with site supervision
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of three (3) years of mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.
- General knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Must be able to pass equipment test and visual observation of operating equipment
- Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, and Client/Site specific training.
- Must obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program and pass a Background.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and pass an MVR.
PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces.
- Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in Confined Spaces.
- Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers.
- Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 100 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.
- Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties. Work normally requires eye-hand coordination.
- Travel and overtime may be required.
